Yesterday we held the Awarding Ceremony for the Re-Certification of TUP Visayas for ISO 9001:2015 for total quality management and for efficiency in service processes.

I commend the whole TUPV community for this achievement. They have very effective leaders with Director Eric Malo-oy in the forefront. VP Norie Valedor, former TUPV Director herself, continues to ably assist in the Campus.

Congressman-elect Dr. Kiko Benitez, himself an educator and President of PWU, graced the occasion. He told us to prepare for greater demands for manpower in the region owing to increased activities in industry and infrastructure development.

I told the faculty and staff of the branch to always take care of our students because it is our responsibility to give them the opportunity to have a bright future for themselves.

Like a great machine, TUPV is Built To Last. But we are not yet done, not in a long shot. A lot of things must still be accomplished.

We must do these things together. There is no other way.
