How to Locate Books and Other Library Materials
The Library is using the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) instead of the traditional card catalog in searching for the reference materials.
The following are the types of reference materials:
- Theses/dissertations/special projects
- Book form
- CD-ROM
- Clippings
- Archives/manuscript
- Pictures/charts
- Maps/globes
- The library operates in open-shelf system.
- Books are arranged by call number according to the Library of Congress Classification Systems
- Theses/dissertations/special projects are arranged alphabetically by author and arranged numerically according to its author notation in the Cutter's Table of Dewey Decimal System
- Clippings are arranged alphabetically by subject. These materials are found in the vertical file at the Undergraduate Annex Section
