The Office of the University Extension Services
The University Extension Services (UES) Office formerly the Office of Extension and External Affairs (OEEA) was established in the late 80's to perform the following functions:
- Advises the President through the Office of the Vice President for Research and Extension and other officials on matters related to extension;
- Coordinates, consolidates, operationalizes the extension services of the University;
- Develops conceptual and theoretical paradigms for a more responsive, dynamic and cooperative extension service;
- Assists in the professional intensification and development of personnel/staff performing extension function of the University
- Develops and maintains facilities, equipment, space, funding human and other resources that will be shared and made available to the four campuses of TUP including IRTC in support to extension activities;
- Serves as a link and channel between the four campuses as well as the IRTC with various units, agencies, interested groups and individuals on matters pertaining to extension; and
- Monitors and reviews the resources, activities, professionalism and quality of extension services of TUP.
