Alumni Affairs Coordinator, TUP Manila
Many institutions of higher learning in the country and across the globe become prestigious and respected because they are strongly supported by their alumni. Their continuous contributions and participations to the different school programs and activities are clear manifestation of their full commitment and loyalty to their Alma Mater.
In addition, the alumni are considered most essential resource and need to be developed through regular information and close coordination in order to match various activities consistent with the major thrusts and development goals of the University.
Since the TUP is composed of four campuses namely TUP Manila; TUP Taguig; TUP Cavite and TUP Visayas, there is a need to take concrete steps to strengthen the Alumni relations in the TUP System.
In reference to CHED Memo Order No. 03 S.2001 of the RA 8292 and as required by the TUP Board of regents; to represent the ALUMNI SECTOR in the BOR, the TUP Alumni Associations should federate and be SEC registered in order to be entitled to seat, voice and vote.
Towards this direction, all campuses have to strengthen and improve its Alumni relations and eventually come up with a very strong federation and leaders from the different campuses that will composed and support the TUP FEDERATION OF ALUMNI ASSOCIATIONS in all duly representative in the Alumni Sector of the TUP Board of Regents.
